Cheesecake Brownies

AMAZING Cheesecake Brownies - the delicious chocolate dessert with a cream cheese and white chocolate chip layer. Recipe on { }
Who loves BROWNIES?!
The chocolate-y treats are one of my “go-to” desserts when company comes over, so I like to have several different brownie recipes on hand. When my family saw a recipe for Cheesecake Brownies, they decided to give them a try. Let’s just say I’m so glad they did because this recipe was GREAT!! Let me tell you why…
1 – Brownies on they’re on are simply delicious!
2 – A cheesecake layer in between means you can’t go wrong!
3 – White chocolate chips in the Cheesecake layer make them even better!
SEE! You really can’t go wrong with this recipe. There are a few more steps than the brownies in a box, but I promise they won’t disappoint. If you want to change things up next time and want to take your brownies to the next level, I definitely suggest trying this recipe. 😉

Take a ride on the reading railroad

Everlasting release day party

“Her hand fits perfectly in mine.” He whispered this, as if confirming it with someone. His gaze locked on it, analyzing, then with a shake of his head, he spoke louder. “Sophia, I’m sorry. I …I lied to you.”

I looked at him—bewilderment crinkling my face—and tried to understand. “Lied?” My voice broke. “I don’t get it.”

“I wasn’t sick that day. Well, in a way I was, I guess. The truth is, I was gut-sick. That guy …he was sitting by you the whole day ...and …and he never left your side. I’d check throughout the day, but he was still there. I couldn’t help it. I was insanely jealous.” He looked down, his tone deepening as he flexed his fingers that were still laced through mine.

“What?” His words astounded me. I swiped my brow with my free hand. “You were jealous …of me?”

My release day party for Everlasting will be Feb 18 from 7 to 9 pm CST. There will be 8 awesome authors with big giveaways, everything from free books, to jewelry to Amazon gift cards.

Love Books!!

Blogs for #1linewed

Every Wednesday a One Line Wednesday party is held on Twitter for authors to share lines from their books. The theme this last Wednesday was "Old". Here are my lines from my three novels for the theme "old" Hope you like them!! Everlasting: Bob came bounding out of the picket-fenced yard, shaking the hair out of his eyes. I could almost hear his old bones creaking. Chasm: "She goes on those bus trips with a bunch of other old ladies. I don't think she ever wins a whole heck of a lot." The One: "If I live until I'm eighty, will you still wait for me? Were you serious about us being together when I die an old lady?"

The weather

The weather here in Nebraska is actually predicted to be up in the 40's for the next three days. I could learn to live with that!! We had sub-zero temps just a few nights ago so it will be a welcome change. I got my content edits fixed and done for Chasm. Don't have a release date on this book yet but should be out soon!!

The One, the 2nd book in the Everlasting series

Slowly making progress in The One, the second book in the Everlasting series. Slow and steady progress will get the book done. Being a published author made it all too real that now I write for the world to see, not just myself. This brings on new feelings of doubt and pressure. The pressure to succeed and bring to my readers a source of entertainment that they’ll enjoy and want to read more of. But I have faith in myself. And when that doubt creeps in, I will keep on, because even though I may not be able to please everyone, writing does please me and it is what I was meant to do!! Follow your dreams people! That’s what life is really about!!

Calling all authors!

Beginning the month of February, I would like to host authors on my blog for their path to publishing story. The way it works is I would host one author a day to talk about how they got started writing and how they came to be published. I will begin with mine on February 1st and authors can see how it works. Authors can add their social media and buy links, along with their pictures and cover photos. Please comment if you are interested!
